Afterdisabling SAM sites the Russians had placed on oil rigs, Shepherd informs Task Force 141 that the Sixth Fleet is mopping up the area and gives them a brief rundown of the gulag they are about to storm and that they are rescuing "Prisoner 627" - the man Vladimir Makarov despises the most.

The group is ferried on several Little Birds as escort fighters destroy a SAM site near the cliff. The Sixth Fleet then begins to bombard the gulag as the Little Birds begin sniping defenders on the walls. As the men snipe their enemies, a shot from one of the battleships nearly causes the Little Bird Roach is on to suffer an air draft. Soap tells Shepherd to have the navy cease fire, which he is able to do as the Little Birds touch down.

Fighting their way through the gulag, they arrive at a control room where Ghost hacks into the control system while Roach and Soap begin clearing cells. Ghost then tells them that Prisoner 627 was recently moved to the east wing, and that the armory is their best bet to reach them. As the group enters the armory, Ghost soon spots enemies moving in, who the team are able to repulse by cleverly using Riot Shields to draw their fire away.

Rappelling down to the bottom level, the team activates their night vision and engage another group of defenders. Upon clearing the hallway of enemies and making it to the other side, Roach is shell-shocked by continued bombardment. Soap orders Shepherd to have the Navy stand down, which he is again able to do. Clearing more enemies, the team then breaches into a shower room and engage more enemies, fighting their way to the other side.

Now clear of enemies, Ghost soon informs them that there are two heat signatures, one of them being their prisoner. As they breach the wall separating them, the prisoner overwhelms his guard and punches Roach down and aims an AK-47 at him. As Soap yells for the prisoner to stand down, he quickly realizes that the prisoner is Price, who was captured during Operation Kingfish. A bewildered Worm questions the nickname "Soap", which until now was unknown to Task Force 141, when the building shakes, with Shepherd informing them that the Navy has resumed their bombardment. Price and the team try to escape through a passageway, but are cut off by falling debris and are forced to find another route.

They arrive in a cafeteria where an undetonated bomb has crashed through the ceiling. Worried that they have no way to escape, Roach is then struck by falling debris and knocked out. As he comes to, he sees Soap fire a flare, which the Pave Low pilot spots and drops a skyhook. All of the men are able to latch on and escape before the gulag is destroyed.

The player starts the mission on a fast transport helicopter as three Little Birds converge on a Russian Gulag while the F-15 Eagles destroy a SAM (surface-to-air missile) site on a nearby ridge. As the player's Little Bird flies over the gulag, the player can snipe the soldiers on the towers.

Eventually, the player will come across a control room where Ghost will take control. After that, the player will be assigned to a "cell duty". After killing all of the enemies, the player will arrive in the armory.

Once inside the armory, Captain MacTavish will sarcastically ask if there's a weapon that the player likes. Of course, you have the choice of swapping for a weapon that the player likes. The enemies will encircle the armory so Soap will tell the player to take shield by using one of the riot shields that are lying around the armory. When all of the cell blocks are cleared, the player will rappel down to the lowest floor.

After clearing the shower room, the team will advance to rescue Prisoner 627 that was revealed to be Captain Price, who was captured during the events of Operation Kingfish. MacTavish orders him to drop the weapon and the old friends are reunited.

Then, the player must hurry to reach the exfil point where the cave-in drops on the player. However, Price will free the player and the team will escape from the gulag with a SPIE rig that is attached to a Pave Low.

As soon as you have secured control of the oil rigs, you and the task force are straight back into the action as you begin the assault on the gulag. Armed with a sniper rifle from the helicopter, focus on the enemies on the turrets to enable the choppers to land inside the walls.

Follow MacTavish into the second level of the cells and take out the opposition fighters on the other side of the gate while Ghost gets to grips with the ancient hardware. Head down to the weapon armoury.

Use this moment to arm yourself with a shotgun for those close-quarters engagements. With Ghost unable to open the doors, leaving you pinned in the armoury, grab a riot shield and fend off the surrounding enemies as Ghost opens the door.

Once the riot shields are dealt with, eliminate any enemies left standing on the upper floors before making your move down the hole at the furthest end of the showers. Now in the old tunnel system, make your way to the wall where you are about to rescue prisoner 627.

Roach gets knocked to the ground by some rubble while MacTavish fires a flare to attract the attention of the helicopter. Clip onto the rope and be whisked out of the gulag just before it comes crashing down.

The Guards of the Gulag are the first enemies BJ encounters during The Old Blood (remastered). They are very common during the first half of "Wanted by Russia". but during the second half, they are replaced by the Spetsnaz.

Activision and Infinity Ward have released several "Call of Duty" games in the past few months, with all of them being incredibly popular. First, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" was released in October 2019, and despite being out for only two months in 2019, it has managed to rank second in revenue among premium games. On March 10, Warzone game mode came out, both as an addition to the regular game and as a standalone free-to-play version, and finally, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" had its remastered campaign released on March 31.

The remastered campaign of the popular game was released only for PlayStation 4, and while gamers are waiting for it to drop on Xbox One and PC, which should be done in late April, they are keeping themselves busy by mostly playing the Warzone battle royale mode.

Thanks to the Gulag, "Call of Duty: Warzone" players are able to get back into the game after losing a fight to an enemy. After dying to another player, players are sent to the Gulag for a 1v1 fight against another player who was sent there, and whoever wins a fight is sent back to the game. This unique system allows players to gain an extra life by using their skills to defeat an enemy. What makes Gulag so good is that both players are on a level playing field as they are given the same weapons.

Reddit user Kasperinoz has posted a video of him finding an MP7, a Model 680, and $300 Cash laying on the floor in the Gulag. The player started a match with the X16 pistol, while his Lethal and Tactical equipment were Semtex and a Stun Grenade. A few seconds into the match, he noticed the other weapons on the floor, which he then successfully picked up.

This most likely happened because a previous player who was in the arena disconnected and his loot was dropped to the floor. While this glitch is most likely very hard to replicate, finding random guns on the Gulag floor should never happen as it doesn't make the fight fair. In the video posted by the Reddit user, one player had a shotgun, while the other one only had a pistol.

Another game-breaking glitch in "Call of Duty: Warzone" is a god mode glitch. This exploit gives players infinite health and they cannot be eliminated by enemies no matter what. Players are hoping that Infinity Ward will fix these glitches soon as well as take care of hackers and cheaters who have been ruining gameplay lately.

Fans discovered a new zombies Easter egg in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered three whole years after the game released. The Call of Duty series is one of the most beloved franchises in gaming, but it's also one that tries to stay varied with every entry. Each developer has their strong suit and subfranchise with its own rules and themes. For the longest time, Treyarch was the only developer to include zombies in its games while Infinity Ward opted for more tactical co-op modes that were in line with the tone of the Modern Warfare series. However, they ended up taking a crack at it with games like Infinite Warfare, but eventually came back to Spec Ops when it rebooted Modern Warfare.

However, fans recently discovered something pretty significant in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, which was released in March 2020. This Easter egg was pointed out by MrDalekJD, who found them via someone known as Vlad, essentially Vlad searched for the word "zombie" in the game's files and found something that referenced a gulag zombie Easter egg. From there, they were able to figure out if you load up the mission The Gulag, find cell number 227 in the giant circular cell block, and then cook a grenade in the tiny door window. Once you do that, go to the guard tower with all of the monitors and one of them will turn on, showing a zombie with glowing yellow eyes running around in the cell, making growling noises of some kind.
