Immersive driving simulation comes to life in the details. Dual-motor force feedback makes you feel every tire slip and terrain change. Solid steel ball bearings in the wheel shaft give weight and durability. Stainless steel paddle shifters and floor pedals apply precision force. Hand-stitched leather covered wheel makes every car luxury. Helical gearing delivers smooth, quiet operation.

Feel your tires on every turn and type of terrain. Sense under and oversteer drifting with precision. Feel every weight shift and tire slip, and the road conditions that caused them. Powerful dual-motor force feedback realistically simulates force effects so you can respond immediately and accurately.

Driving Force handles the stress of racing action and is built for long-lasting reliability. Solid steel ball bearings are used in the wheel shaft. Stainless steel paddle shifters and pedals feel great under pressure. The wheel is covered in high-quality, hand-stitched leather for a premium sports car feel. Grab your car by the wheel for a more realistic, comfortable and durable racing experience.

Exceptionally smooth, quiet steering action thanks to helical gears modeled after gears used in automotive transmissions. Anti-backlash keeps the wheel and pedals tight, maximizing your control. Driving Force Racing Wheel also features a long lasting, reliable hall-effect steering sensor, using magnetic fields to sense the position of the wheel.

All your controls are where you can reach them. The D-Pad, buttons and paddle shifters are incorporated into the racing wheel. LED indicator lights positioned just above the center of the wheel tell you exactly when to up- or down-shift so you maintain maximum acceleration without taking your eyes off the track. A 24-point selection dial and the +/- buttons on the front of the wheel let you further fine-tune your driving preferences.

Maintain a more realistic driving body position with the separate floor pedal unit with integrated throttle, brake, and clutch pedals. Driving Force lets you comfortably accelerate, brake and change gears with the feel of an actual car.

The nonlinear brake pedal mimics the performance of a pressure-sensitive brake system for a more responsive, accurate braking feel. For even finer control, reposition the pedal faces to make heel-toe maneuvers easier to perform.

I have a Logitech Force 3d Pro now. Has anyone ever used this stick in any way that would indicate that the Mac can utilize the force feedback features? (E.g. has anyone ever gotten it to work with the Mac FF plugin, or with another game that supports FF, or even any kind of FF test app)?

I have a Logitech FFB stick and the x-force plug-in on a PPC iMac G5. It provides reasonable effects, like ground rumble, prop and rotor vibrations, and my favourite, it becomes very stiff when you hit Vne. I like it but I'd like a moving seat or platform. My wife laughs each time I start up a plane and the 'ghost' stick starts moving around by itself.

I have quite a few ideas on how force feedback could improve my simming but no idea what the available products and SDKs are capable of. Does the current FF plugin do stuff like accurate trim, by moving force center, for example?

I placed the X-Force 1.0.xpl file in the Plugins folder. I wasn't sure where, if anywhere, I was supposed to put the other files in the archive (e.g. info.plist and InfoPlist.strings), so I put them in the same place.

As suggested here, I have re-booted my Mac while the joystick was plugged in and powered up. After launching X-Plane, I can see the plugin in my plugins list, but X-Plane will not allow me to turn it on (the check-box will not check). Both of the X-force configuration menu items are greyed out as well.

I've read elsewhere in the forum that the plugin may fail to work if it sees that you have previously used a non-force-feedback controller on your Mac. So, my question is: How do I get my Mac to forget that I ever used another joystick besides my Logitech Force 3D Pro? What files do I need to delete, and where are they hidden?

I too have not been able to get my force 3d pro stick to work with force feedback - but on my PC. I have XP8.6, Windowas XP, and the PC FFB plugin downloaded a few weeks ago from France XP site. Plugin is installed in the plugins folder, and appears to be active in the plugins menu. I've tried updating the drivers from the logitech website but this hasn't solved the problem. Restarting etc has no effect.

AFAIK, Force 3D Pro is identical with Extreme 3D Pro, except Force 3D has a force feedback feature. I am not expecting to use force feedback but duplicating profiles from supported devices(but not connected) must be available in order to easily profile unsupported ones.

#&-You will note my assignments keep these near my Thumb, because, trim and flaps are things you need often, especially trim, so those are at the lowest buttons on top of Joystick, landing you need to change quickly-Currently-Trim in MSFS is very slow and not responsive hence lots of pushes to get little results.

Revised as needed, still playing with null zone settings

Another Note: I tried the TBM-930 and the B787 at PMDY for test location. It should be noted, the 787 will not ascend if turn is in excess of 25-30 degree bank angle. It will go down, it will not come back up. If you take it wings level, it very often will not ascend back to level flight, most often it crashes. That flight problem is in either direction of turn. It also may be a design intent (cannot believe BA does not give real world pilot control in all axis of operation of ac), but the plastic (carbon fiber) structure of the plane puts limitations on how much it can twist and turn. Asobo, please find out from BA what the maximums bank angle is and make the plane like real world. In testing out the TBM, I was able to make several feather light landings, it took some practice to get there. My JS settings work better in it, as the trim will respond to inputs, and it works. But again, these planes do not fly like the real world counterparts do, and those characteristics need to be as real as it gets in this sim. Please hire qualified pilots certified in TYPE, to help you get these planes working properly, because right now, the are far away from real life.

So is it

a) a problem with the joystick or

b) a problem with FS or

c) a driver problem or

d) is my computer simply too slow (MacBook Pro with bootcamp and 1 TB SSD) or

e) something else?

I'm having a terrible time getting any stability in-flight with my Logitech controller. What am I doing wrong? In the air I immediately start wiobbling, spinning and crash. Never had this problem in other sims. Can somebody suggest what might be happening?

OK, that helps a some, but frankly I'm having trouble even getting in the air from a full stop takeoff. Can anyone point me to an idiot's guide to programming for this sim? I just end up spinning off the runway every time I try to takeoff -- and I've spent hours on LOMAC, F4, etc, so I'm not a complete noob.

I suppose these stick got standart pots ( not optical or magnetic) so try to check if pots work smooth and correctly first. I got many years ago Logitech sticks and all of them got pots problems after short time.

hi i have the same stick had the same problem has you,it just got better with bos updates a lot of the time it is flaps and rudder set in wrong poshion look on out side cam, check flaps and rudder if out off centre, unplug usb plug back in agin until flaps and rudder our center, once you have got this right its a good stick. all so up date soft ware for win8.1 from logitech site thay have only just put in bare bones driver soft war that i have just got to work. remember its a old stick now like most of them out there,

hi go to properties this will let u test stick i use the twist as rudder only, has i said if u have win 8.1 wingman soft ware has a hard job working, only auto load works true for me but buttons use as u wish.

hi iam back ive been reading some of the info, you can delite logitech drivers and soft ware. then go to deviices and printers and open logitech game controler settings then properties this will allow you to re calerbrate the stick
