As we prepare to begin a new Lions year, I come to you with both excitement and urgency. Our district has built incredible momentum, and it is up to us to ensure we continue strengthening our standing as “Quite Possibly the Greatest Lions District on Earth!”
Our district convention is March 7, 2026
At this time, we need dedicated Lions to step forward and fill three very important district roles:
- Trustee for Indiana Lions Speech and Hearing
- Trustee for Indiana Lions Foundation
- A qualified candidate for Second Vice District Governor
These are not just titles — they are opportunities to shape the future of District 25-G and expand the impact of our service across Indiana.
I want to speak from the heart for a moment. I was once very apprehensive about becoming even a club president. Leadership felt intimidating. But once I stepped forward, I discovered the invaluable leadership skills, confidence, and friendships that come from saying “yes” to Lions service in a new way.
The journey through the district leadership pathway — especially toward District Governor — is a wonderful experience you will never forget. It stretches you, strengthens you, and surrounds you with some of the finest people you will ever serve alongside.
We cannot allow these roles to go unfilled. If we do not act now, we risk losing the momentum we have worked so hard to build. Our district deserves strong leadership, fresh ideas, and committed hearts ready to serve.
