The Indiana Lions Foundation is once again seeking nominations for the annual Indiana Distinguished Lion Award, a prestigious recognition honoring Lions who have demonstrated exceptional, long-standing service to Lionism.

Each Lions club is invited to nominate one deserving Lion who has contributed significantly to their community, the multiple district, international service, or a combination of all three. Nominees must be in good standing and have completed a minimum of 25 years of service as a Lion.

All nominees will be recognized during the Indiana Lions State Convention in Plainfield at the Saturday luncheon on May 2nd.  Each honoree will receive a personalized plaque - a meaningful way for clubs to celebrate the dedication and impact of their long-service members.

A committee of Indiana Lions Foundation trustees, chaired by PDG Don Cooper, will review all submissions and select one outstanding Lion to receive the title of Indiana Distinguished Lion. This special recognition will also be presented at the May 2nd luncheon.

Clubs are encouraged to act quickly. The deadline for submitting applications is January 31st. Application forms are available on the Indiana Lions Foundation website https://indianalionsfoundationmd25.org/what-we-do/indiana-distinguished-lion-award/ and should be submitted to PDG Don at the address listed on the form.

This is a wonderful opportunity to honor the Lions who have shaped our organization through decades of service and leadership.;
