Dear Lions of District 25-G,

As we prepare for our upcoming Week of Service, April 18-26, 2026, I invite each of you to join together in a shared mission—protecting and preserving our environment.

The world around us is a gift, and as Lions, we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to care for it. Whether big or small, every action we take makes a difference. This is our moment to lead by example and inspire our communities to do the same.

Your club’s project can be simple—organizing a roadside cleanup, planting flowers or trees, starting a recycling initiative, or sharing environmental awareness on social media. Or it can be something larger—partnering with local organizations, hosting educational events, or creating lasting sustainability programs. What matters most is that we take action.

This week is not just about service—it’s about visibility, awareness, and impact. When our communities see Lions in action, they see hope, leadership, and commitment to a better future.

Let’s challenge ourselves and each other:
  • Make it meaningful
  • Make it visible
  • Make it impactful
Together, we can raise awareness, inspire change, and protect the environment for generations to come.

If you have a plan of action, put it in the portal today. This will enable you to invite others and remind you to close in out once completed for credit towards your Club Excellence Award.

I look forward to seeing the incredible ways District 25-G steps up to serve. Please be sure to share your projects and stories—we want to celebrate your efforts!

Thank you for your dedication to service and for making a difference where it matters most.

We are "Quite Possibly the Greatest Lions District on Earth!"

Have fun,
Jackie
District Governor, 25-G
