Hi everyone,
I want to set up my online experiment on a server and I’m a bit stuck choosing a hosting provider and LAMP stack. The documentation still refers to Bitnami, which is no longer available, so I was wondering what the current recommended alternatives are.
I’d be grateful for any advice on specific providers/setups that work well with LIONESS. A colleague of mine mentioned Heroku. I also heard about Hetzner that is described as fairly user friendly. Has anyone used LIONESS one of these?
My main concern is user-friendliness: I have little experience with server administration and would strongly prefer a setup that is easy to configure.
Thanks a lot for any advice or recommendations.
Lou Schubert
Hi Lou,
Sorry for my late answer.
I think one of the easiest solutions is this one: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/hands-on/latest/deploy-lamp-lightsail/deploy-lamp-lightsail.html?refid=a8f3a470-c846-4ece-8eaf-bc166a69639f
Cheers, Lucas
