Hi Lioness Community,

I have a question regarding dropouts, specifically about identifying the cause of a player's dropout. I am slightly confused by the way the logEvents table works.
2 situations in my data:

(1) A player times out. The variable event takes the value: "Player X was excluded due to time out" at eventNr = n followed by "Player dropped out" at eventNr = n+1. The timeEvents are identical.

(2) A player dropped out for (I think) other reasons. The variable event takes the value: "Player dropped out", at eventNr = n followed by "Timed out, removed from experiment. The group proceeds".  at eventNr = n+1. The timeEvents are identical.

The fact that in situation (2) the Event message still mentions a time out confuses me. I guess it think it's probably because after 30 seconds of inactivity LIONESS identifies someone has dropped out. Still, I would like to be sure about this.
It would really appreciate if someone could confirm this / correct me.

Thank you all and I wish you a nice week :)

Lou
