All groups are using Lean Six Sigma for your projects. Do you know that it also applies to your Presentation preparation:
- Define your project objective precisely in the very beginning; Highlight project achievements so far;
- Measure project achievements in $ sense, remember other than labor cost, "time is money", "inventory is money", "revenue is money" even "space is also money".
- Analyse the factors contributing to your achievements, highlight only the processes in details where you will change and improve.
- Improve the processes by streamlining, combining, merging, automating, adopting new technologies, and optimizing and so on.
- Control the new processes by proper documentation, monitoring, using IT systems, standardization, and continuous improvements.
- Conclusion and Future Work (your work will last until the final judging in Jan 2012).

Make full use of the 15 minutes presentation time to sell your achievements, only the slides relevant to your achievements are value added slides, count yourself the percentage of Value-added-slides/Total slides.

Last but not least, keep refining you presentation slides to have standardized formatting, proper alignment, correct grammar and spelling, logical linkage one after another. Don't forget to get a laser pointer for the day (less than one dollar per person if you buy from the shop mentioned).

Practice, practice, and practice! "Practice makes the Perfect"

Good luck!
