#PROPOGANDA# about how Grouply is not a spam system etc.
There you will find a link that will to take you to the page where you
can close your account.
You must first click the button to disconnect all Groups Grouply is
latched onto. Then you may click the delete account button.
These actions may result in emails being sent to groups and people
informing them you have left Grouply.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Group Owners, there is information at Grouply
that gives detailed instructions on how to keep your Group from being
accessed by Grouply. All Group Owners should use these instructions
immediately.
PLEASE PASS THIS EMAIL ON TO GROUPS YOU ARE A MEMBER OF. Yahoo cannot
outright block Grouply itself without legal ramification. However Group

Overall sounds like something worth leaving! What is it?

Grouply calls themselves a summarization service that takes information
from Yahoo and Google groups and creates a daily notice of your groups
activities. I should have known better myself but I was looking at the
convenience factor and like an idiot completely ignored the security
risks. Well those risks are coming to light big time. Yahoo Groups Admin
is sending warnings out about Grouply explaining exactly how they access
your information and what they gain access to when you use them. We all
make mistakes but it never occurred to me when I joined the service back
when they first started up that they could get such sweeping access to a
group.
