I'm trying to install aircrack on debian but I keep getting error
messages.

So, I need someone to message me on here and tell me how to do this.
What package do I install?
How do I install it?

I get error messages too.
So, I'll do the first step, and follow what your talking about, then
ill send any error messages, and you tell me what to do.
:)

I have no Internet. If it was that easy I would do it. I get Internet
through wireless and wired but it still says no connection. Any
reason?

I'm connected via ether card. ga511. It's connected and all but it
doesn't want to get a ip address or anything.

Let's start with these:

- Are you using the GUI or the command line when you run into issues?
- Is network manager running?
- What program is giving you the error?
- Are you starting a dhcp client?
- What is in your /etc/network/interfaces file?
- what is the output of ifconfig -a?
- what is the output of route -n?

I'm using command line.

The Ethernet card is not getting internet. I can install aircrack using someone script, but I need to be connected to internet first.

I chose automatic dhcp

Output of ifconfig –a is the wireless cards info

You're making this very difficult, it's like pulling teeth.  So, your ethernet card doesn't have any driver, then, is what I'm gathering?

My wired NetGear GA611 v2. Works directly out of the box. Lights are on, and my network configuration is able to see it's a wired connection.

I enable the wire connection in the network configuration, and select the to option to automatically use dhcp, to obtain a ip address from the server upon connection.

Now, I visit my devices page on my router and I'm not able to see that server2(wired, netgear ga511, Debian) is connected. No, it is not listed under devices pages.

Nor, can I visit any web page when browsing the web from the debian computer.

Do I need to have something else open to obtain connection with my router?

Paste the output of these commands here (use a flash drive or something to copy them to a working computer). Some might require to be run as root:

lspci

lsmod

ifconfig

cat /etc/resolv.conf
