I'm running Suse 10.1 and FireFox 1.5 I'm trying to lock down firefox
to prevent people from doing anything other than browsing. I downloaded
the R-kiosk 0.3 plug in and modified it so that the address bar shows
up and all the menu items are locked out, except for preferences. If
anyone knows how to lock preferences out I would greatly appreciate any
help you can give.

Thank you, but it didn't work. I downloaded it and tried it. It lets
you make .xpi packages, but it doesn't have an option to remove menus
unless you know the string to disable them.
