building X-windows system on small embedded system

Hello Groups,

I builded a small kernel with initrd support (don't have root file
system).this will just boot the kernel and display the shell prompt
( it is also having hot-plugging and ethernet supports).now i want
install x-windows system on this initrd.i tryied to install Xorg
(http://wiki.x.org/wiki/NewModuleGuidelines)but i don't know what are
the packages i have to install for minimal configuration.if any one
knows in this regard please help me.

I also have interesting in building my system but I don't do it!
