Hello!

I'm contacting you because we've been contacted by a GitHub user who would very much like to have the username you're using (linuxfoundation).

In cases like this we offer to pass along a message. You are under no obligation to respond to them, and you don't need to reply to us.

The message is shared below. Please let me know if you have any questions. Remember, you are under no obligation to respond or to give up your username. If you are interested in giving them your username, I would be more than happy to help you make the change. (Changing your username is quick, painless, and doesn't mess up your access.)

Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for your time,

Chris

===================

Greetings, fellow Githubber:

My name is Konstantin Ryabitsev and I am the Director of IT Services
for the Linux Foundation. We noticed that you are currently the owner of
github.com/linuxfoundation, which is proving to be confusing to people
who are, unsurprisingly, expecting that organization to be associated
with the Linux Foundation. I wonder if perhaps you would be kind enough
to transfer the organization name to us, as we plan to put a number of
our open-source projects to be shared via GitHub in order to further
promote both Linux and Free Software.

Thank you very kindly for your consideration.

Best regards,
Konstantin Ryabitsev
