Problem in install RedHat

Hi Dear group,

 

I want to install RedHat ,but i get this error:"No driver found: Unable to find any devices of the type needed ... Would you like to manually select your driver or use a driver disk? .. ."

I found in the internet that i should use this command :

"Linux all-generic-id text "

when i use taht command i get this error :desabling irq#201

 

what can i do?

seems like you have a sata hard disk and using some old version of
redhat. i would suggest you to try fedora 9, this will solve your
problem

what redhat version you are using??must be the old one,,other wise you will not get such problem,,

Thanks indeed for your attention, i couls solved that problem by this command "linux text all-generic-ide irqpoll pci=nommconf"
But now the cdrom isnt in the /dev/media ,so i can not mount and use it

What can i do ?

No it isnt in /dev/cdrom,it seems that the system didnt recognize the cdrom.
