Need an experienced UNIX developer for leading the effort for orchestration of ETL Informatica jobs, UNIX wrappers & Java engine jobs using AutoSys

Job Responsibilities:

As a UNIX Systems Engineer, you will focus on day-to-day development, implementation, and support of applications built on Unix/Linux systems. This will require that you have strong working experience in UNIX/Linux as well as a variety of other development tools and languages

Your specific duties as a Unix Systems Engineer will include:

·         Developing, enhancing, modifying, and/or maintaining UNIX ksh shell scripts

·         Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting UNIX shell scripts using AutoSys

·         Engaging in support activities and work with different teams to gather required information

·         Follow client Version Control and Change Management process to migrate unix code

Job Requirements:

As a UNIX Systems developer, you must be strong in the UNIX shell scripting (Ksh and Bash). Hands-on leadership experience is also highly desirable. It is also vital that you have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, peers, subordinates, and customers.

Specific qualifications for the Unix Systems Engineer position will include:

·         More than 5 years of applicable experience in developing wrapper scripts in UNIX

·         In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages, including UNIX Shell scripting

·         Ability to write detailed design documents

·         Proficiency in coding on an independent basis

·         AutoSys scheduler experience (R11), is a plus

·         Must have experience in any Job scheduling tool

·         Tortoise SVN and Remedy for version control and incident/change management, a plus

·         Experience using Agile development methodologies, a plus

·         Functional programming experience, a plus

·         Experience in Informatica is a big plus
