How did you Take Backup and Restote with two parttions of SD card.

  1. Click to download custom lxde image based on Ubuntu-12.10. Uncompress and dd it to 8GB sdcard
how did you make this image file before you done it.
 i think you have two partion in your sd card first 16mb for boot and second 4 gb for root fs(if used 4 GB but i used 16GB so i have 16MB and 16GB two partition).
 sir how did you make one image file with this two parttion.

Insert sdcard:

umount /media/<username>/*

(Don't copy paste the below command)
sudo dd if=/dev/sdb of=aakash_linux_with_all_touchscreens.img bs=1M

Change sdb with your sdcard, remember, you have to give sdb only to take complete backup, if you want backup of only ext4 partition then give sdb2 and so on.

sdb contains both sdb1 and sdb2.

sir i did this but it is not booting with aaksh tablet
