Firefox OS on aakash?

I saw this video of amazing Firefox OS (Boot 2 Gecko aka B2G) showcased by developer in linuxconfau13

Does it make sense for me to try porting Gecko to run on aakash (currently gecko hasn't been tested on allwinner chipsets) considering it has two major advantages

1> NO more painful java anywhere to write apps (all apps use html/css/js)
2> the entire system consists only of kernel at bottom and gecko instance running on framebuffer; the min requirement is ARMv6 and 250mb RAM; and that means very fast OS.

I might fail miserably but is it worth a try?

It carries the same pain as android, we can't port GNU apps directly, other than that it still a mobile OS and well in beta. Sachin has tried it on emulator. If you want to try, go ahead :-)

Right, I forgot the main reason to use Ubuntu (that is availability all rich linux native apps). With gecko that will be a pain and who knows how many nights I'll have to spend to get its other features working

Even the current OS on aakash is heavily modified (I believe its built from ubuntu-core)
Heck we can release our debian fork! :D

Is the linux under elan_ts based aakash better? I mean I have ft5x_ts  based tablet and the touch is not very nice... which touch does the other black aakash tab with me have?
