Uberstudent is based on Ubuntu so it should port.
Also it has tons of apps which is for students, so it will save time
in pre-installing apps.

It's yet another lightweight distro. Is it a ARM based distro? Porting is not an issue, but how would you compare it with present version of aakash, we can install all packages from repositories in either case

Haven't checked for its arm version, mostly it doesn't.

But packaging and installing applications ourselves means we have to check for updates and send it downstream, and maintain our own copy of repository.

I doubt it will be arm based.
