1. I don't have the original software anymore. (Any ideas on getting it
somewhere?)
2. I really would like to put Linux on it instead. (Redhat or SUSE or
something!)
3. I can't tell what type of machine it is. This is what I have noticed
when I opened it up.
This is a relatively old machine, the BIOS is dated 1987-1989, it has 128 MB
or RAM on about 12 simms/dimms (can't really tell what they are) and has one
processor, that I know of. Has SCSI on the board and a SCSI insert in it.
Has 4 drives loaded in the front of the case. sideways instead of how most
are these days. (Maybe NCR still does that I don't know?) Also this
machine had no CD-ROM I put one in it though... all it had was a diskette
drive and a tape backup drive (SCSI also.) I was able to boot of the
diskette drive with a Redhat disk, was unsuccessful with a Window NT 4.0
disk, and booted somewhat with a SUSE disk, but it would not recognize the
SCSI controller on the motherboard or the one in the insert slot. Speaking
of insert slot it's not PCI or ISA, I have no idea what kind it is.
Any help would be seriously appreciated. THANKS!!!!

possible. thanks.)
