I have a compaq deskpro 4000 p133 with onboard nic, 1.2gb hdd, 45x cdrom,
and 32 mb ram. I am trying to install redhat 6.1 and I get a "recieved
signal 11 error message you may safely restart your computer" message after
running the boot disk. I have the hdd formated in one partion using fat16.
When I enter expert mode it runs through some of the boot files and askes me
to put in my driver diskette, I have no Idea what kind of driver diskette
its asking for or what the signal 11 error is from. Judging by the
documentation of redhat's site it could be just about any thing in hardware.
I tried to install on a dell optiplex p-166, and got the same message. Can
someone give me a little help?
