i am considering getting some kind of sparc box to play about with but am
confused by the multiplicity of models. for instance does the number after
sparc reffer to just the prosesor model of the motherbord as well? i assume
all sparc MBs are made buy sun, how upgradable are they? what is the speed
like compaired to pentium baced systems? the boxes all look the same
between from what i'v seen on ebay, can i put any sprac system into any box?
what memory do they take? the sockets look like standard SIMMs are they?
