Hi All,

Can you help me on a particular problem which I am facing?

I am trying to configure INN News Server on RedHat 8.0.
I have installed INN to run on port 800 because 119 port is being used by
NNTP service.

It is installed successfully. I have added some newsgroups also in this.
I created the newsgroup using the command :

ctlinnd newgroup <newsgroup name> 0 1 y
It shows the message as OK which means that it is successfully added.

Now when I connect to this Newserver using any Newsreader, it doesn't show
any newsgroups ?

Can anybody help me in configuring this ?

Thanks in advance,

INN is a NNTP server and should run on port 119. You can either modify your
client to look at 800, ore reconfigure INN to run on 119
