man error

Hello,

The follwoing error appears after I try to man something in RH4.2

[bchand@tomcat ~]# man hostname
man: No such file or directory
Failed to open the message catalog man on the path NLSPATH=<none>

It is important to note that I see my man pages, however I am wondering
what I did to cause the error message as well as more importantly, fix
them.
