Hello

Anyone here had any luck installing kernel 2.6 on Redhat 9.0 ??

I tried, but i really want to leave all the default options from kernel
2.4 (well, the ones that still exists), but i'm getting a hardtime to
know what's wrong.

If i use the old config it fails in compilation. If i choose just some
options from kernel 2.6 default config, it crashes.

Really really.. a pain...

Anyone with tips or configs? :)

IIR you can copy in your old config file,
then do a make oldconfig (or something like that)
the make oldconfig will then prompt you for all of the
new options.
