No Sound!

Hello all,

I am a newbie in RedHat. I have just installed RH 8.0 recently.
Everything seems to work fine except the Sound. It can be recognized
that the sound card is Intel 810 AC'97 but no sound is coming. This is
the content in the file modules.conf:

alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias eth0 tulip
alias usb-controller ehci-hcd
alias sound-slot-0 i810_audio
post-install sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L
>/dev/null 2>&1 || :
pre-remove sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S
>/dev/null 2>&1 || :
alias usb-controller1 usb-uhci

Could any of you help me on this problem?
