Well, I think there may be a problem with that. You could simply append
it to an existing html file, but what are you going to do about fonts,
etc? Unless you compose your email in Applix, or something else that is
font-capable, your text will look just like it does in email.
Is that what you want?

Sure.
(echo '<pre>' cat-current-email-message; echo '</pre>' ) >myfile.html
Instead of echo '<pre>' you might want to cat some boilerplate html
file.
The program cat-current-email-message is left as an exercise to the
reader. You may be able to do something with lowly mail, otherwise the
mh kit will let you build up something nifty.
You also need to investigate what your .forward file can do for you.

I agree that netatalk is his best solution -- chatty my foot. The University

Both are IBM Turbo 16/4, configured:
TR0: IRQ: 11, I/O: A20
TR1: IRQ: 10, I/O: A24
TR0 does work, but linux doesn´t find the second one. What could be the
problem???
and is it possible to use two TR´s in linux????

Two questions:
1. The printer has a 25 pin female rs232 port and the computer has a 9
pine male rs232 port available. What cable do I need for this
application?
2. Can I then use this printer with Linux via the serial port?
I'm quite sure #2 is possible, can this be done with the Redhat tools,
or does it need to be done manually?
Thanks,

Hi!
We have own library for full access to Foxpro dbf tables from C/C++
programs.
It support .cdx files and some kind of Rushmore optimizing...
We going to make it freely available soon as soon as we complete some
docs for it.
But we interesting in voluntiers, who will test and improve this
library.
It's not experimental use, it's used in hard work for accounting telecom
users (we very interesting in reliability of it!).
So... If you want to begin, let me know.
Sergey.

Hi,
I have recently setup a home network between Linux, and Windows
95. I'm able to ping, telnet, and after setting up Samba and Ip-Masq,
use the Linux's printer, and surf the inet, but the problem is: after
about 5-10 minutes, it `ping` on Windows 95 machine replys "Request
timeout". However, after rebooting Windows 95 machine, it works again
for another 5 minutes, any suggestions?
Is there any file to check?
And who's problem is it, Linux's or Windows?
Thanks,

We have been running MacTCP/IP and Netscape on our Mac farm for a few
months now, bringing e-mail and the Web to our Mac folks; works like a
charm.
Until recently, customer files submitted to our FTP server had to
be downloaded via Fetch to the Macs. This was a real hassle, so I looked
around and found Netatalk. Now directories from the Linux box can be
mounted on the Macs just as our Novell volumes are. I still have some
issues to work out, but it makes me realize that instead of Novell/IPX, we
could have our file server running Linux!
Now if I can only get mars_nwe working again, the PCs would have the same
access....
Just my two cents,
Mike

There are scads of documents to read on this subject. Can you tell us

In case you haven't read anything at all, may I suggest:

I think you will find your answer in the latter. Please make an effort

Further clarification required I think.....
I have a database (approx. 1.5Gb) in a database called jBase (see
www.jac.com, free developer copy!). I need to extract samples of this data
in .DBF format to ship to our clients. Currently I export comma-delimited
and then run a DOS process to produce .DBF files. I would prefer to produce
the .DBF files directly in Linux which could then e-mail them while I'm
snoring away in bed ;-) I may be able to do this in DOSEMU or by adjusting
DOS source, eg. from simtelnet, but I prefer not to reinvent the wheel if
possible.
I will truck around sunsite and see, but I ain't got ppp on Linux so it
means a trek into the dark, depraved depths of Win'98.

There is a product called Flagship from WorkGroup Solutions
that may do the job. www.wgs.com

I installed windows 95 onto my dos partition and it overwrote the LILO
which was sitting in the boot sector of my harddisk. Is there any way I
can restore the LILO?

Thank you.

Okay... I had the same problem a few days ago, actually. For the sake of
saving my time, I'm not going to explain the entire thing to you. I
actually skipped the how-to, and went straight for online documentation..
Try this, it helped me completely:
http://www.redhat.com/support/docs/rhl/RHL-4.2-Users-Guide-HTML/manual/doc045.html.
I can tell you one thing, though. As far as I can remember, I
never did anything to /etc/hosts.allow, other than maybe adding in the ip
address/hostname of the computer that would be mounting it. Hope this
helps:)

You can get a standard 25-pin to 25-pin serial cable and get a 9 to 25
pin adapter for the computer end. I have seen this configuration work
without a problem.

I'm not sure about this. I would think it would need to be done manually
since the RedHat tools setup local printers on lpx, i.e., the parallel
port.
I could be wrong about this, though.

I believe the flag you refer to is in /etc/sysconfig/network...
