Is there any way to impose a minimum checking interval for pop3 users
?
I run a pop3 server where some clients have configured their e-mail
clients on their laptops, and pcs and home PC's to continuously check
mail. This results in a problem where every single mailbox is checked
once every 30 seconds. This is slowing down my mail server.
Is there any way to impose a limit ? so that the users get an ERROR
message which says - "Checking too frequently" or something to that
effect ?
