Europa ES-900 =
Duron 800 in PC Chips M810LR with SIS730s Graphics System set at 16mb out of
512mb total ram.
Red Hat Linux 7.1 Set up without incident once I disabled X configuration.
Loged in as Root and ran setup, X Configuration ( Text Mode ) says
effectively ' do it yourself !'

I have edited /etc/X11/XF86config with the limited info I have for the SIS
730 and my Packard Bell A520 P&P monitor. Probably insufficient or missing
info.
I really need an XF86config from someone who has got it working, and any
other necessary files.. so I can get startx to function.

I am totally green with Linux (Two weeks so far..). Have got it Dual Booting
OK with Windows 2K.
I loaded KDE and Gnome as I do not know what to expect.
Assuming I get X to work .. How do you choose the GUI of choice..

This is very urgent as I have course work to create in Linux and no machine
to do it on..
Help from college consists of 'DIY' and 'Get on with it' .. very positive !

NB I am posting this widely so please CC to me as well as the group.(remove
