Gestalt Corporation announces the release of STEP FORWARD - a multi-platform
development framework for database-centric applications. STEP FORWARD is a
graphical tool to create relational databases, GUIs for data input/output,
executable flowcharts that control data input, reports and processes. It
includes graphical Report Generator and its client/server version
("Navigator") allows publishing reports over the Web. The framework can be
expanded by including user-developed Java classes, and currently supports MS
SQL Server 2000, Sybase, Mimer and McKoi RDBMS. Runs on Red Hat Linux v9.
