Microsoft attacks Linux from new angle: Cost

SEATTLE - Microsoft Corp. executives have called the opensource software
Linux a cancer. They've even described the increasingly popular operating
system - an alternative to Microsoft's proprietary Windows - as un-American.
BY HELEN JUNG THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Found this in The Chattanooga Times Free Press - Thursday, December 26, 2002

What was the MS story about India again . . like 400M?

This news dates back to at least June 2001. Steve Ballmer made
the above comments IIRC.

water in London. Just how desperate is the Chattanooga Times
Free Press for stories (or ahem, subscriptions)?
