Problem at SuSE 8.2 and Python 2.2.2

Hi!

I'm new at Linux and I need some help, if you don't mint.
I download SuSE Linux 8.2 but at the Installation it apears a problem from
Python 2.2.2 packet.
So, I skip that. Everything is going well and I start like Linux but in some
programmes that I get grom the net,
at the installation it gets me at the Yast install and from there it's still
asking me to install Python. So it finds
again that it is a problem so skip again. I download the Python 2.3.2 I
install it and still the same.
Any opinions?
