Hello,
I just compiled the kernel 2.4-test-11.
Everything seems to work fine, but the SCSI controller (that worked well
with the standard installed RedHat 7.0 system kernel 2.2-16)
isn't recognized anymore.
A plextor CD-ROM and a HP 1537A DAT- Drive are connected to the
adapter(this shouldn't matter too much).
I haven't found an exact match to the installed ADAPTEC 2940 A PCI
Controller in the kernel config options, the closest one was an 1740
controller.
Which option should I enable prior to recompiling the kernel?
lspci shows:(among others, of course)
00:0c.0 SCSI storage controller: Adaptec AIC-7881U
Any help would be appreciated.
