Hi!
Trying to copy the first (audio-) cd of the year ended with xcdroast`s
failure message:

cdda2wav: Input/output error. ReadStandard10: scsi sendcmd: cmd timeout
after 0.294 (300) s
CDB: 28 00 00 00 00 2E 00 00 32 00
resid: 102400
cmd finished after 0.294s timeout 300s

a few hundred times.
This is the according syslog entry:

Jan 3 12:36:13 timbo kernel: (scsi0:A:2:0): data overrun detected in
Data-in phase. Tag == 0x2.
Jan 3 12:36:13 timbo kernel: (scsi0:A:2:0): Have seen Data Phase. Length =
102400. NumSGs = 4.
Jan 3 12:36:13 timbo kernel: sg[0] - Addr 0x04520000 : Length 32768
Jan 3 12:36:13 timbo kernel: sg[1] - Addr 0x044a0000 : Length 32768
Jan 3 12:36:13 timbo kernel: sg[2] - Addr 0x04ba8000 : Length 32768
Jan 3 12:36:13 timbo kernel: sg[3] - Addr 0x04f88000 : Length 4096

I can play the cd without problems, data cds too. No problems when reading
the cd in my cd-writer. (scsi-id 2 is my cdrom drive).
There was something like a thunderstorm yesterday, and the lights flashed a
few times. Is it possible i`ve got a lightning damage?
Once again out of money and answers:
