I have 2 IDE drives..a 4.3GB IDE and a 5.1GB IDE.
I would like to mirror these 2 drives, and use the extra 800MB as scratch
space...

I have installed a full install of Redhat 7.3 onto the 4.3GB as /dev/hda,
and have added
the 5.1GB as /dev/hdb...(I have not fdisk or formatted /dev/hdb yet)
Now what do I do next??

It would be much easier for you to reinstall, if you can, and setup
mirroring during the install process...
