I have a bug report but am not sure which package it should be filed
against. The Weather Report application, version 1.24.1, is affected,
as is the weather reported by the Clock application, version 1.24.1, in
the MATE desktop environment. Neither reports the correct weather, and
the log files contain the error "Failed to get METAR data." I suspect
the issue is related to a URL change described in these two threads:

https://www.reddit.com/r/flying/comments/179bmcj/metar_map_issues/

How should this be reported?

Best regards,

I would say its the app, gkrelmm's weather plugin continues o work
normally here and AFAIK has not been updated since stretch.

Cheers, Gene Heskett.

The latest upgrade of the packages libmateweather-common and
libmateweather1 (both to version 1.24.1-1+deb11u1) has fixed the
problem; the two weather applications are now functioning properly.
