Problem mit rpcbind nach Upgrade auf Stretch

Hallo,
seit dem gestrigen Upgrade auf stretch verweigert rpcbind den Dienst:
# systemctl start rpcbind
Job for rpcbind.service failed because the control process exited with
error code. See "systemctl status rpcbind.service" and "journalctl -xe"
for details.
Ich *vermute* dies hängt damit zusammen, dass die Datei /etc/netconfig
nicht vorhanden ist, siehe syslog:
Oct 4 00:35:52 localhost systemd[1]: Stopped RPC bind portmap service.
Oct 4 00:35:52 localhost systemd[1]: Starting RPC bind portmap
service...

Die vorgeschlagenen Kommandos zum Debuggen helfen mir nicht weiter:
# systemctl status rpcbind.service

Hat jemand eine Idee, was hier Abhilfe schaffen könnte?
Die /etc/netconfig gab es bei Jessie auch nicht, wird die jetzt
gebraucht, und falls ja, wo kommt sie her? Oder muss ich rpcbind
abgewöhnen danach zu suchen?

auch schon in jessie.
Wie ist der Status von libtirpc1 bei dir?

libtirpc1 war installiert, die Datei hat aber seltsamerweise gefehlt.
Noch seltsamer: nach
# apt-get remove rpcbind libtirpc1 && apt-get install rpcbind libtirpc1
fehlte die Datei immer noch!
Im manuell heruntergeladenen Paket ist sie aber vorhanden, und nach
händischem kopieren nach /etc läuft rpcbind jetzt :)
In der Jessie Installation waren rpcbind u. libtirpc1 offenbar gar nicht
installiert, deshalb war die Datei dann auch nicht vorhanden (hatte mich
schon gefragt, ob ich rpcbind überhaupt brauche...).
Warum die Datei nach der Installation von libtirpc1 fehlte ist wohl ein
Rätsel, das ungelöst bleiben wird.

Nach remove ist ein Paket im Status 'rc' und durch eine erneutes
install werden die Conffiles als noch vorhanden betrachtet.

Danke, das hatte ich nach Matthias' Erklärung schon verstanden :)
Nachdem ich mir die alten syslogs noch mal näher angeschaut habe, habe
ich nebenbei festgestellt, dass rpcbind doch vor dem Upgrade installiert
war, aber offenbar auch ohne die Datei zurecht kam. Da hat sich wohl
etwas geändert. Keine Ahnung wie mir die Datei urspünglich abhanden kam,
aber egal, jetzt läuft's wieder :)

Ok, das erklärt das Fehlen der Datei nach neuinstallieren des Pakets.
