Hola Jose, ¿con que kernel instalaste woody?.Tu tarjeta la reconoce el
kernel 2.4.18 y no se necesita hacer nada, es la tarjeta que yo tengo y
no configuré nada, funcionó sola

Cámbiate al kernel 2.4.18 ó instala el paquete sndconfig para configurar
tu tarjeta:

paco@debian:~$ apt-cache show sndconfig
Package: sndconfig
Priority: extra
Section: sound
Installed-Size: 944
Maintainer: Noel Koethe <no...@debian.org>
Architecture: i386
Version: 0.67-3
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.4-4), playmidi (>=2.3-25), kudzu (>=0.99.49-1)
Filename: pool/main/s/sndconfig/sndconfig_0.67-3_i386.deb
Size: 231946
MD5Sum: 76880dba20e8e3111de67810ca802771
Description: Easy soundcard configuration
Sndconfig is a utility that lets you configure your soundcard easily.
It was written originally for RedHat Linux, but now it is available
for Debian GNU/Linux, too.
.
Sndconfig uses isapnp to detect common soundcards and writes a isapnp
configuration to and module control lines for use with your sound card.
It requires a kernel with OSS sound modules to be present.
