Setting minimal mouse double-click interval?

Hi,

Is there a way to set a minimal mouse double-click interval in KDE? By editing some config file or whatever?

Doesn't seem to do much in my case but other people on the web say it worked for them.

My idea was to use the min double-click interval to fix the mouse that glitches sometimes and registers a single click as a double-click. Maybe something else is in play here.
