Along the lines described in http://www.asheesh.org/note/debian/rdfa-pts, it would be great if the PTS provided RDFa metadata.
I think it lacks just a few modifications in order to provide proper RDFa in the XHTML output, that could be exploited by Semantic Web applications.
Maybe this ontology : http://github.com/nbarrientos/steamy/blob/master/ontologies/debian.owl could be a good candidate for representing package metadata in RDF.

I think SPDX (http://spdx.org) would be an even better standard for package identification. This would be natively linked to DEP5 efforts, as SPDX is standardizing a lot on this (see http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep5/).
