I'm putting Martin Michlmayr in copy to have his input. I know I used
debian-jobs a few times already to try to look for partners but it has
not been very effective in general.
Would people object if we started using debian-consultants to publish
work offers targetting Debian freelancers?

Actually they/she (cough m.s. cough) look at a number of mailing lists.
I don't love the method of approach (I've always thought it was a scam,
fortunately she has a good sense of humour) but it's a good way to get
the staff you want.
