Upstream has a fix in their repo for the annoying segfault in the
encoding prompt (Ctrl-t e <start to type> <tab> BOOM).

Attached is a debdiff (trivial import of the commit as a quilt patch)
which fixes the issue for me.
Please consider adding this patch until a new upstream version is
released.
