Package: dino-im
Version: 0.3.0-3+handy+b1
Severity: minor

Currently Dino does not have audible notifications for messages or
calls by default. That's a bit of an issue for mobian users, who I
imagine are the people that primarily benefit from this libhandy build.
Dino does have an option for audible notifications, but it's only
available when compiling. For the build script, please will you change

`./configure`

to

`./configure --enable-plugin=notification-sound`

and push out a new build? That will enable notification sounds for
users of Dino from the experimental repository.

This sounds useful, indeed.

I will add `-DENABLED_PLUGINS=notification-sound` and a build-dep of
`libcanberra-dev` to the experimental branch, if nobody objects.

Cheers

Hello,

Did this get added? I started using the experimental branch and
currently it doesn't have notification sounds

Sorry, I forget, that I planned to do that.
I wanted to ask upstream about their opinion first.
Will ask them tomorrow, if possible!

In Debian, we should stay without the plugin for now, sorry!

No worries. The better long-term solution would be to figure out what's
needed to get Dino to work with feedbackd
