Package: simple-cdd
Version: 0.6.9
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When building a default bookworm dist image using the command `build-simple-cdd`
on a bookworm system, simple-cdd is able to successfully build the
image. However, when using this image to install a new system, the installer
complains that it can't find the package `zstd` and refuses to continue.

I built the image with simple-cdd in a docker environment
(debian:bookworm-slim).

Just adding the package `zstd` (and nothing else) results in a working
installer.

Might it be, that for bookworm the package `zstd` needs to be addeed to the
downloads file of the default profile
(i.e. https://salsa.debian.org/debian/simple-cdd/-/blob/master/profiles/default.downloads)?

Thanks for looking into this issue.

Regards,

Sietze

If that indeed fixes it, that sounds like a simple enough workaround
worth applying, thanks!

Will try and test this and get a fix uploaded. Will have to first upload
to unstable/sid, and then another upload to stable-proposed-updates to
get this fixed in bookworm.
