Package: mumble
Version: 1.3.4-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

In the "Shortcuts" settings, when I add a new shortcut and click in the
"Shortcut" column, a "Press Shortcut" label is shown. However, it is not
possible to assign a shortcut, regardless of which key is pressed, and the
"Press Shortcut" label remains, until I click somewhere else.

I expected a key name to be listed in the "Shortcut" column after I pressed the
key while the "Press Shortcut" label was visible. This issue may be because I'm
running a Wayland compositor (Sway).

I've tested adding shortcuts for mumble 1.3.4-1 and it seems to work as expected
in the Debian Sid VM I use for testing and using mumble, which uses the Xfce
window manager (and does not use Wayland).

Just to double-check the procedure for setting a shortcut:
1. Press "Add" to add a shortcut
2. On the added shortcut, under the "shortcut" label, click on the blank area
for the shortcut under the "Shotcut" tab
3. After clicking in the blank area, "Press Shortcut" appears
4. Press the desired key and/or mouse button for the desisred shortcut
5. Click the area under the "Function" tab for the shortcut (which starts off
with "Unassigned") to assign the shortcut function

The order of these steps is optional, i.e. item (5.) above can be done before
item (2.)

From the description of the bug I think these steps were done correctly, and
that the underlying issue might be something to do with how keyboard and mouse
input is done with Wayland, but I'd like a little more information. More
specifically I'd like to know which window manager and/or desktop environment is
in use, because I've repeatedly seen bugs with tiling window managers with
Mumble where non-tiling window managers don't seem to show the symptoms.

Thanks

Best Regards
