Package: krita
Version: 1:4.4.2+dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Each time menus are upgraded I get message :
Error in file "/usr/share/applications/krita_jpeg.desktop": "jpeg/jfif" is an invalid MIME type ("jpeg" is an unregistered media type)

And indeed this file contains
MimeType=image/jpeg;jpeg/jfif

I have just installed krita and I did not see any warning while
installing it. How do you "upgrade the menus"?

Regards, Lisandro.

It happens each time another package with a .desktop file is upgraded, I
do not know what is exactly called at that time.

Hi, I got the error tod    ay when upgrading, thus I knew the package
and got a look at the portinst script.

The command which leads to the error message is :

update-desktop-database /usr/share/applications
