Package: mpage
Version: 2.4-6

Hi there,

I've found two rather frustrating bugs in the mpage package. Using the
following:

mpage -2 /etc/profile >foo.ps
gv foo.ps

We immediately see two problems:

1) It produces so-called "seascape" and not "landscape" output: ie, it is
upside down when viewed with ghostview until you put it (manually) into
"seascape" mode.

2) It ignores /etc/papersize; the default page size is always A4. While
this can be changed with the -bletter option, it's better to use
/etc/papersize consistently between Debian packages.

This particular problem continually causes me grief since I always forget
to use -bletter; thus my pages are always cut off the first time I print
them.

Thanks for any help.

Avery
