   * Add d/not-installed file
   * Add myself to the d/ section of d/copyright
   * Add d/upstream/metadata

Then this is a team upload. Please add that to the changelog and reupload.
Then it is okay formally. You can leave your name in the Uploaders.
If nobody grants you DM rights for the package this will not be effective anyway.
I am not in the multimedia team, so I do not know whether you are a team member.
