Hi

Thanks for packaging ksmbd-tools. Would it be an idea to provide a
systemd unit which facilitates the use of ksmbd? A couple of ideas:

In a ExecStartPre (or better options?) try to load the ksmbd kernel
module which is required to be loaded.

Provide ExecStart, ExecStop directives according to the README to help
starting and reloading the ksmbd service. In such a case does
ksmbd.mountd needs to bestarted with -s / --systemd?

Have a condition (ConditionPathExists?) on /etc/ksmbd/smb.conf
presence for trying to start the service.

Other ideas?

Regards,
Salvatore

Hi, I'd like to note that upstream already provides a systemd unit[1],
so improving it with upstream (like submitting a patch to include a
condition on /etc/ksmbd/smb.conf, as suggested by Salvatore) and
shipping that would be nice.
