Just a quick note that I am able to reproduce this issue with master.
Though at times it works with upstream master, running from builddir
via "make run" under the ./pw-uninstalled.sh environment.
Maybe this only works because the settings are different.

Likely an upstream issue.

Cheers,
Alban

reported upstream as
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/issues/3199

likely the bug is triggered by the module erroring out when trying to
connect on a non existent remote port.
Then the segfault is bug in pipewire.

The issue was triggered by a LibreElec 11.0.1 box that advertises a
PulseAudio protocol tcp service on port 4713 but does not listen there.

I believe this could be reproduced via a fake avahi service XML
definition.

Issue fixed upstream in
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/commit/ffa21d696d7d364e9d46e519b513c2780bd7b6f3
.
I made a merge request against salsa debian/experimental at
https://salsa.debian.org/utopia-team/pipewire/-/merge_requests/20
