Dear Maintainer,
I'm requesting for the inclusion of the ueberzug package in the Debian
packaging repository. It is a small package that is made in python, whose
source code is located at: https://github.com/seebye/ueberzug.

I request this package because one of the ways of doing image previews in
ranger file manager which will be released in the next stable version of
Debian requires ueberzug to work.

* Package name : ueberzug
Version : 18.1.9
Upstream Author : Nico Bäurer
* URL : https://github.com/seebye/ueberzug
* License : GPL-3+
Programming Lang: Python
Description : a command line utility which draws images on terminals

Überzug is a command line utility which draws images on terminals using child
windows.

Advantages to w3mimgdisplay:

- no race conditions as a new window is created to display images
- expose events will be processed,
- so images will be redrawn on switch workspaces
- tmux support (excluding multi pane windows)
- terminals without the WINDOWID environment variable are supported
- chars are used as position - and size unit
- no memory leak (/ unlimited cache)

I intend to maintain this package within the Python packaging team.
